The Sweetest Mountain

P1010046

Care to take a journey?

This mountain of delectable & Heavenly goodness awaits you.

Shall we start our climb from the bottom or from the top?

We could make our approach my navigating up the plump and sugary sweet strawberries. Or we could maneuver our way up the mound of homemade whipped cream and sink our fork into the fluffy biscuit.

P1010047

A strategic plan…..

Are you ready?

Is your mouth watering yet?

I know mine is!

What will it be? From the top – or from the bottom?

It is your decision.

Have a safe and taste tantalizing trip!!

For directions on how to make this wonderful strawberry shortcake, stop on over to visit my dear friend, Jean. I do believe she needs to change her blog name to “In The Kitchen With Miss Jean.” This woman can cook!!!!

Strawberry shortcake is my most favorite dessert in the summertime. I made it a couple of weeks ago. I usually use Bisquick but I used Grand Biscuits this time. It was yumalicious!!

Strawberry mountain must be attacked from the summit, where all the whipped cream clouds touch the peak:>) This looks soooo good. It's been ages since I had strawberry shortcake!

Oh, I can't wait! Strawberries will be late this year in these parts - we've had such a lot of rain and cool weather...but when the berries are ripe I'll be constructing a similar mountain!

This shortcake looks so delicious!! You can't beat the original Bisquick recipe. It is so good!! It is making my mouth water. Wish I had some fresh strawberries. They are gone here. But peaches are coming in and doesn't peach shortcake sound good? Love & blessings from NC!
