Behind The Scenes

P1010139

A typical day of work always involves the Scotties.

Whether they are laying in the room near where I am working or right at my feet, they are a constant part of my work day.

Anyone who sells online knows that the lighting and staging is an integral part of making your photos just so. There is a certain part of the day that the light is good in certain parts of the house. This morning it is in the dining room.

P1010136

Duhgall was very curious as I took photos. He climbed up on the stool and was nosing around this little vignette.

“Hey Duhgall, would you like a treat?”

P1010138

“Yes?”

“Well, my little boy, you have to jump and get it and I will take a photo of you!”

P1010147

Duhgall gives it much thought.

Fiona says to him that if he doesn’t get it, she will.

P1010149

With that bee in his bonnet, he decides to go for it. “Step aside, Fiona, I am the boss dog today!”

P1010150

Yes, little Fiona did get a treat, too. How could I give some to one and not the other?

Ok, they are content and laying down now so I can get back to work.

Time to edit the photos….and look what was left behind…….

P1010154

…..yup…..a tasty morsel.

P1010029a

Back to a second shoot….

Better now.

Where are the dogs? One is in a chair and the other is at my feet while I edit my photos. They are the perfect team to have around to help…and they don’t ask for a paycheck either!

Hi Becky! It took me a while to find a way to leave a comment on this post... not sure why. Your dogs are so very adorable! Mine are laying here near me.. waiting patiently for breakfast, which I am running late on, having blogged too long. Have a great weekend!

Duhgall and Fionna are too too cute Becky! I know what you mean, my Cowboy and Bella love to get in my pictures as well. Aren't our babies precious? I have always had at least 1 dog my entire life. I just don't get it when someone tells me they're not a dog person. It's like, Huh?

Hi Becky!
What great little helpers you have.
My kitties always keep me company in my sewing room and they love to grab the threads and ribbon!

What would we do without them.

I am chuckling as I read this tonight as we are keeping Murphy overnight and he is very busy taunting Jackson! They have a love/hate relationship.
