For now we are using our formal dining room as more of a sitting room - slash den - slash office...or whatever you wish to call it. For now it is more of a collect all room but holds some of my favorite pieces.
This old stepback hutch is a favorite with old milky green and white paint. Inside are my collections of ironstone and restaurant dishes. My favorite pieces to collect are the green and red patterns. Very simple and just perfect to go with just about any season or setting.
One of my handmade pennant banners done up in Christmas fabrics hangs at the top for added color and cheer.
Aren't they just the happiest couple?

I have an obsession with little creamers and these red pieces are some of my favorites. They are perfect for serving individual servings of pancake syrup or salad dressing.
Thanks for stopping by!
