Sweet Old Bluebird Picture

Every now and then I find sweet old pictures that must come home with me. This one is a very sweet piece, most likely from the 1920's. This picture is called "My Bluebird" and is just precious with the little girl captivated with the little bluebird.
The name of the artist is difficult to see, but the last name appears to be Kenjon. I love the muted colors of greens, browns and blues ~ which many of my photos have. There is a soft and very serene look to them ~ just plain charming!

My mom had this picture in our living room, while I was growing up, of a young blonde girl standing next to a barn looking off into space. I used to stare at her for hours wondering about her life.
I love the picture you found!

This is such a sweet picture Becky! I love it. I can see why you would never be able to resist it. It is so soft and innocent looking. When I think of bluebirds, I think of the convent. Humm, that is another story all together.....

Hugs and kitty kisses ~

This is a beautiful picture. I wonder whether it may be taken from a slightly earlier period than the 1920s? Have you ever seen a picture of our late Queen Mother, this little girl looks very similar to her as a child and she was born in around 1900. x
