Our Home At Christmas

P1010105

Hello and welcome to our Christmas home 2011! The photos take you through the downstairs rooms and then on up to the guest bedroom - one of my favorite rooms to do up for Christmas in red and white. The little feather tree holds several of our red vintage ornaments. This year I decided to have several Christmas counted cross pieces that I stitched framed. My favorite is the Woodland Santa, that is in the step-back hutch in the dining room. Come along and have a look around.....P1010103

Huge WOW, Miss B. Everything is so beautiful and thoughtfully placed. I especially love the glass front display with the little red elves and cottages tucked inside. Your eye for detail in just incredible -- how sweet is the little book with the skier on the cover? :-)

Your home is so beautiful. Your cross stitch pieces are wonderful, especially the Merry Christmas one with the holly (kind of looks like a Blackbird Designs). I could just move right in and feel totally at home! I just love all the vintage things you own and wish I was as lucky with my finds!

Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful beyond words. Becky you gave me an idea to use my vintage crochet rounds (they were for a bedspread).
I have been trying to think of something to do with them, not enough for any real project. I will have to make some garland,
love yours. I spotted that Blue Bouquet tin by Halls China. I collect that china and I have 2 of those tins. I also spotted that really cute hat on that hall-tree.
I love the pictures of your boys, especially the one of Jordan hugging Spencer, absolutely precious. Love all of your cross stitch. Your house is just so beautiful. You do a wonderful job of decorating.

Oh my goodness, Becky!
Everything looks grand!
I have so many of the same or very similar things that I see in your kitchen and family rooms areas. Similar or the same brown transferware platters, the exact same long flat hanging wicker wall basket! Etc etc etc.
I love your red trees and your kitchen tree too!
I have not posted my kitchen tree and hutch area yet. Still tweaking it and its just not there yet. Maybe it won't get there at all seeing that the clock is ticking and we are getting closer and closer to the big birthday party o n the 25th!

Thanks for inviting me over.
Love it all.... and the American flags with Santa in the front hall too. :)
