Sun, Sand and Happy Scotties

A few weeks ago we ventured away from the cold and foggy valley and drove over to the coast. These sorts of trips are few and far between, but always good for the soul when we do.

Human souls and scottie souls.

Before heading to the white sands of the beach, we strolled through town to pick up a few treats for the dogs and a little birthday gift to a very special little Wheaten Scottie who recently turned one.

Once we hit the beach, the leads come off of Duhgall and Fiona and away they went! They just ran and ran and ran and ran and had THE best time meeting other dogs at the beach.

A good rest is needed for them so they can go for round two, three and four. This is after round four of playing. I do believe they are tuckered out!

But not this guy! Just look at how happy he is!

The day was just perfect – nice and warm….

…beautiful scenery…

…lots of doggy friends…

…and a lovely sunset.IMG_4151 IMG_4189

Days to remember, that is for sure.

Hi Becky! Oh, it looks and sounds like a wonderful day! Now I have to say every time I see the back and part side view of Douhgall's little head - I see Chloe Dawn. Again, Schnauzers and Scotties just must be cousins! :)
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)

There's just something so MAGICAL about seeing furry~creatures ENJOYING the BEACH!
So FUN that Fiona and Dughall have each other!
Doogan sends snuggles and wags!
Do you sew?
I am going to learn to sew!
And make bags...maybe to sell!
Is it hard to learn to sew?
What kind of machine do you have...if you don't mind me asking?
I LOVE that ruffled bag!
Just like YOU!

We need to get over there with Maggie! Of course, she will have to stay on her leash. If I took it off she would be in SLO and beyond!!!
