…and the winner is….

P1010042a

Now you don’t need to “sit pretty” to get your little giveaway treat here…..but Mr. Duhgall has it down pat, wouldn’t you say?

P1010012b

Before we get to telling you who won the giveaway, I should address something….something scottie-ish.

Many of you ask how Duhgall and Fiona are so well behaved when it comes to having their pictures taken. Well, it doesn’t always work out that they sit like little models……

P1010020c

….like here……which this just cracks me up! It is as if Fiona just told a good joke and Duhgall is looking at her as if to say, “WWWWWhat!!????” She cracks herself up! Really, she is such a clown!

P1010018d

Ok, come a little closer……shall we tell everyone who won the burlap cones?

P1010019c

No? You’d rather go unwrap more of your birthday treats? Or is Duhgall going to help you some more?

P1010025b

I think he got a whiff of something “pink” and "girlylike". I am glad that he was a gentleman and ….

P1010041a

….allowed you to open your new pink collar full of marvelous little bling-bling charms. Fiona celebrated her first birthday the other day (can you believe that?) and had fun opening her gifts. My handsome son, Spen Man, and Fiona share the same birthday! Isn't that a coincidence? They were both lavished with love, presents and prime rib!!

Now, the winner of the little burlap cone giveaway is Rhoda at Southern Hospitality Blog!! Congratulations to Rhoda!

Thank you to everyone who took time out of your day to visit and to leave such wonderful and encouraging words. I am so happy that many of you enjoyed the beautiful poem that was shared with me by two lovely blog friends. It warms my heart that so many of you took comfort in the poem and will share it with others who, like me, have sweet little angels having their first Christmas in Heaven. I can only sit here and marvel over the thought of how super fantastic that must be!!!!

I wish you all PEACE, LOVE and JOY. May you find comfort and happiness in all of your days. Know that you are loved - from here on earth and from above. xxoo

Those dogs are so ADORABLE! Such sweeties. And I am so glad that someone else wraps up presents for their dogs birthdays. (and we must always have a photo-shoot you know : ).....but the present thing, this is why I can't put gifts under the tree yet, they will get opened, and our Dazzle will surely shred the papers all over the room. Your babies are precious darlings!!!

I can hardly get a good picture of Maggie so it's amazing to me that you can get pictures of two little Scottish hams! Her trick is to look away at just the last second.

Hello, I just happened onto your blog and the dogs photos pulled me in like a vacuum. Scottie's are my favorite in the world. Your two beautiful babies are so adorable it just pulls at my heart stings looking at the pictures. We have had two Scottie poodle mix (purebred Scotties are scarce around here) and they were wonderful. We were blessed to have their love, companionship and adorable silliness and antics for a combined 24 years. We haven't been able to find that breed lately so when we wanted a puppy after we lost our last little scottie mix, Miss Daisy, (8 years ago) so we got a Schnauzer 'Frauline Friskie' that has been and absolute love and rescued a horribly abused 15 month old Schnauzer mix Sadie Jo, 4 years ago. For me having my little people with fur around me, offers a love and companionship I could not live without. I just wanted to make one more comment before I go finish exploring your wonderful blog. The poem that was posted about spending Christmas with Jesus. That is the second time I have heard it and it is so touching. It always makes me cry but they are good tears. Beautiful sentiments. Thank you for sharing your babies and all the beauty of your blog.

Congratulations Rhoda! Hope your having a cozy weekend Becky! I'm busy baking cookies and catching up on reading/commenting on blogs between batches coming from the oven. My Man said that my Betty Crocker time will be cut short today (I had planned to go late into the night) because he's taking the family to see a live Nativity scene! Ah such a wonderful reminder of what this season is about!

Dear Becky,
I just wanted to stop by and let you know I'm thinking about you. The holidays are tough when there's an empty place setting at the table. You're in my prayers. May Christmas fill your heart and home with the true Spirit of the season. Patricia

Becky, you have the cutest doggies ever. When I was a teenager, we had a little Scottish terrier, and it's just so wonderful to see yours. I cannot have dogs now because of my lease, but I have seven rescued siamese kitties that I hide from landlord! I am wishing you a good Christmas and New Year. You are such an inspiration with your faith - you are my hero. Kind regards, Heidi.

Congratulations to the winner! Doogs needs to come teach my Scotties how to sit up so handsomely like he does! I love Fiona's new bling, bling collar. Yes, Scotties are hard to capture in photos when they are having fun frapping. LOL

Our chat made my week, Becky.
