#3 of the Five Of My Favorite Things - Vintage Aprons

I love old vintage aprons and the fabrics they are made of. These old kitchen amenities bring back memories of my Grandmothers and Mother wearing them as they prepared our meals. I am sure each one could tell a heartfelt story if they could. Here is a selection of my red, blue and white ones.
They all hang in my laundry room on an old chippy green paint towel rack.
On the end is a vintage child's apron and next to that is a darling Scotty Dog apron that I purchased from Patricia several years ago. I also spy the cute bag holder that Karen made!!

This sweetie pie is on the other end - love those old Dutch designs!

Wishing you all a wonderful start to a new week. Be sure to stop back by on the 23rd to enter for a drawing that I am having to celebrate my first year of blogging.

I love LOVE LoVE aprons, love them, make them, sell them and wear them every single time I craft or cook! Mine are ruffly and roses and shabby chic, but I absolutely adore the old vintage ones with 40s and 50s decor on them. Where do you get them, sweetpea!! I used to live in Hayward. Where are you? We were just there visiting our daughter.

Your collection of aprons are wonderful. This is one of the few things that I don't collect. I love them but don't have just the right place to display them. Have a wonderful night.

Hi Becky,
I am so glad you found me from LeAnn's (that sweetie pie) old blog. Isn't it great about her new one? Yay!

Well, I couldn't have stopped by on a better day. I love all these vintage aprons and don't know which is my favorite, but I do love all things with dogs. They so remind me of my great-grandmas and my grandmas - ooh and I think I can even smell some custard in the oven.

Glad to have found you back. Off to take a look around.
