Looking through some old photos today and found these of Fiona, our Wheaten Scottie dog, when she was just a little puppy. These were taken in February of 2009, when she was coming home with us. Below, her Auntie Wave is holding her….
…and here I am showing Fiona the “Coming Home” cake that her Auntie Wave made for her the day that we went to pick her up at the breeder’s home – our friends Dodie and Stan.
Fiona’s stout little nose (well, little may not be the correct description – more like BIG), is very good at sniffing out the goodies left on the ground.
She also had a lot of zest in her to rip around the house with big brother Duhgall.
Being a smart little whipper-snapper, she did recognize the need for her girly beauty sleep.
Her big brown eyes can melt my heart to the core….
..and she loves to give affection, too. A sweet little wee-one….she is such a joy to have – and her big brother, Mr. D., loves her, too.

They are such darling dogs. xo
What adorably photogenic dogs you have! That cake is one of the cutest things I've ever seen. Does she design cakes for a living? That one's a beauty.

She is so cute. They are adorable together.
Oh we treat our little dog like the spoiled little baby she is. I think I will always have a small dog now that I have had one. Nothing like them. Yours is so cute. I love their little salt and peppers cuteness.

As for as the fires here in Texas the California firemen came here and turned things around for us.They came in I think a DC-10 tanker plane and sprayed the chemical over the hot areas. It was a wonderful site to see here. Our hats are off to the California firemen that is for sure. Thanks to them from Texas. Love you,,Kathy Sue
