The Bag Lady

P1010063h

The bag lady….well YUP, that would be moi. Over the past few weeks I designed a new bag (pattern out soon) that is fun, funky and quite roomy.

P1010043k

My favorite part of designing is choosing the fabrics and all the fixins that go into making a bag. So many choices! I’ll take one of this and one of that..and that..and that…and you know the rest of the story, right?

The fabric awaits me….

a tempting little stash to sink my sewing needle into!

Bliss, pure bliss……

Miss B -- The pattern designing part of this sounds like so much fun... closely followed by the fabric + button combos. Hope we'll see the entire bag *soon* :-)

Gorgeous! Just the thing for all the running around we do these days. Since The Great Dane's 'event' I have been toting whatever I can find at hand - a lovely selection of supermarket bags in shades of green and brown! One of these days I'll get the sewing machine out and follow your example!

Oh my gosh!! Love that fabric on the first bag. What is the name of it? I made a bag on Saturday. Should have waited for your pattern. I made it way too long. I might have to start over again. I'll bet you didn't know you could get out of practice if you don't sew all the time. lol Can't wait to see the new pattern.
