Oh!!!! You would not believe that I have just finished dinner by the way my mouth is watering at this heavenly sight. Good job I'm too shattered to go and bake....and my strawberries wont be ready for some time!

When I was little daddy gave me
a spot in the garden for a strawberry patch and I kept it wiped out everytime one turned half red I ate it.YUM!!!:O)

Strawberry shortcake is my most favorite dessert in the summertime. I made it a couple of weeks ago. I usually use Bisquick but I used Grand Biscuits this time. It was yumalicious!!

Oh, I can't wait! Strawberries will be late this year in these parts - we've had such a lot of rain and cool weather...but when the berries are ripe I'll be constructing a similar mountain!

This shortcake looks so delicious!! You can't beat the original Bisquick recipe. It is so good!! It is making my mouth water. Wish I had some fresh strawberries. They are gone here. But peaches are coming in and doesn't peach shortcake sound good? Love & blessings from NC!
