If you need to take an appetizer to your 4th of July party, you may want to try this one! Miss Jean made these and, of course, I just HAD to take a picture – cause that is how I roll! They are called Mini Pizzas and the recipe is at the bottom of this post. Warning: You will not be able to eat just one!
I sure could use a mini pizza right now cause I forgot to eat today. Just been busy making pennant banners for my Etsy shop. They are all patriotic and fun pieces to have to hang on your porch, over a hutch, along a rail, over a window or on a patio.
Wishing you all a wonderful weekend!!
Now try these mini pizzas out – I am sure you will love them!
MINI PIZZAS
1 pound grated Cheddar Cheese
1/2 small can of tomato sauce
1 small can of chopped green chilis
1 small can of chopped black olives
Mayonnaise
2 Baguettes or French Bread
Slice the baguettes into 1 inch slices. Set aside.
Add all ingredients to the bowl. Add enough mayonnaise just to bind the ingredients together. Spread onto the cut bread. Place into a preheated 350 degree oven. Bake until the cheese is nice and melted on the top.

The mini pizzas look really delicious. I just picked up some new mayo that has olive oil in it and I'm sure it would taste really good in this recipe. Your banners are gorgeous! I don't know how you do it all. Have a blessed 4th celebration.
Oh my goodness those banners are ADORABLE!! I love your sweet, sweet style. And that recipe sounds super good. I was just starting to put together my 4th of July menu tonight.
I need to make some pennants for my summer picnics - I have tons of bias tape and fabric - I'm thinking slices of watermelon.
And Miss Jeans appetizer looks delightful!! - Can't wait to try it.
Also, I want to place an order for the bunting but I'm concerned it won't make it here in time for the 4th. I live in Colorado. what do you think?? I have ordered from you before and LOVE your work.
Hi Becky, Earl was looking over my shoulder as I read this post and he just went nuts over these banners. He loves them as much as I do. Your choice of fabrics is, as usual, fantastic:>)I just can't decide which one I like best. That mini pizza appetizer, wicked! I'm trying to lose weight and everywhere I turn is temptation! lol. Of course, that's how I got in this situation, temptation everywhere even when I'm NOT dieting. Maybe I should sew instead of eating too!
These little treats look so very yummy! Love your banners. Have a happy 4th!
