Oh Boy, What A Treat!!

Isn't it just wonderful when someone prepares a delicious meal for you? To walk into your own kitchen and have fabulous aromas lingering in the air and making your tummy growl?
These two lovely young people (my youngest son, Mr. S. and his sweet girlfriend, Miss K.) are just so thoughtful and quite an impressive pair in the kitchen! They found a recipe for Paula Deen's chicken pot pie on the internet, made the list, went shopping and came home to get busy in the kitchen. Miss K. came all the way from New Hampshire and she said that before she left for home, they wanted to do something nice for my husband and I.
They even set the table and my son was proud to find the cherry napkins that I had stashed away.
Thank you, Miss K. and Mr. S., for making such a fabulous feast for us!!!
You really outdid yourselves and the pot pie was PERFECT! Right down
to the creamy sauce! Yum!!!
Y'all should give this recipe a try. You may have to unbutton the top of your trousers afterwards, but it is well worth it!!

what a sweet pair they are. She seems like pretty good makings for a great daughter-in-law. Proving her talent already huh? It looks delish, the crust looks so light and tasty. I love chicken pot pie, but have never tried Paula Deans. She always makes the best looking food. AND so fattening too, just the kind we like. If you're gonna eat, it might as well taste good right? Have a good week, Shanda

Becky, do you know if the kids made any adjustments in the recipe for baking it in a pan instead of single servings? I went to the site and printed the recipe (sounds delicious) but it doesn't mention a rectangular casserole or even offer such a size as an alternative...sheesh!
