Cruisin' Together

On a quiet morning in January, my husband, Duhgall and I went to our favorite neighborhood restaurant for breakfast. Not "our" neighborhood, but one that we cherish our strolls through. Nothing beats a good walk to burn up the huge breakfast!! And nothing beats a good walk so honey can test out his new camera that I had mentioned some posts back. Come along....enjoy.

Cherish YOUR special moments together and take some

time to LOVE those around you!!

xx
(PS: Continued thanks for all of the prayers and heartfelt comments. I just love you all!!!!!)

Oh, Miss Becky! There are lovely vintage homes out there with our names on them. I just know it!!! When you walk or drive by, they whisper your name. They are just waiting patiently for us. Duhgall certainly looks at home. We'll have to all meet for breakfast as soon as Miss Fiona J. can venture out into the world.

The photos are just beautiful. I have serious camera envy there Mr. B.!

Becky,
I can absolutely see why you love this neighborhood, the homes are beautiful! I love all the architectural & garden detail your husband caught with his new toy! Hee hee! :-)

Just scrolled back and met your new addition, Miss Fiona Jordyn. Now that is a little face after my own heart! Duhgall will get used to her. We had Milo for 2 years before Layla and he is starting to act like he likes her (well, sort of), but don't tell him I said that!!

Hope all is going well with you and your family! You sound happy!!

...hi becky!

So you pictured my "favorite" house in Modesto. The first picture you took on Elmwood, it "was" my favorite before they painted it :( That cool french-y green/yellow that it was before. Do you remember? Do you know who bought that house? *sigh*
Elmwood is my favorite street :) I actually bought an old street sign, when the city was selling their old street signs. It hangs in my living room. Check out the house on the corner of Caroline & Fairmont (I think). The address is Caroline, very very pretty tudor. I'm sure you've seen it.

Thanks for the picturesque stroll! It reminds me of a custom-built home in my parents' subdivision that I just adored when I was growing up. It was a total Hansel & Gretel house! So cottage-y! But it was the inside...oh the inside, that I just absolutely loved. The home was small; a story and a half, but the "half" was a loft where my friend and her sister shared a bedroom. It was a magical place to play! I am going home this weekend (St. Louis, yeah!) and I am going to take a picture of that house and post on my blog next week. I will revisit your blog and let you know when I post...you will love it, Miss Sweet Cottage Dreams!

Hope Miss Fiona Jordyn is doing well and getting along with Mr. Dughall. Take Care and Blessings from Kansas!

Hi Becky,

I recognize the neighborhood. My husband and I came very close to purchasing a home in the same location. Is it a beautiful neighborhood indeed. Its good to get out for a walk between all the rain drops.I've had a full week of rain. If its not raining at home then its raining all day at work. I commute to the bay area every day and its been non stop rain.
My husband and I also will take a stroll from time to time in same area so maybe one day we will run into each other.
Enjoy your day,
Elizabeth

Becky.. :) Good morning! We love you too! If I didn't know better I would think you were right here on one of the wood streets in Riverside. For one moment..
How good it is to see you back. There is even a house that looks so much like yours. Just built in that era of course.
One even has two little Scotties that run out and talk to me when I walk past. Thank you for taking us on your walk with you. If you see any of that precious rain up your way, be sure and send it to us. We have had such a dry Winter..and here it is nearly Spring. We need the rain for the poppies and other wild flowers.
Love and hugs,

Dear Becky,
I hope you are either reading about grief or getting some grief counseling... I remember going to a counselor and telling her how I was forgetting everything, or would just start crying out of nowhere. It was a great comfort to hear;
' no, you're not cracking up! That's perfectly normal. Part of the grieving process.'
If I can be of any help, please email me.
