For a break away from the everyday hub-bub, we love going to the beach. It is one of my favorite things in life. Whilst there, I catch up on all of my favorite magazines - oh, and this one caught my eye!! My favorite hunka-dunk and dressed in wranglers, too! Yummy with a spoon!
This beach trip I decided to get my nose out of my magazines for a bit and to watch other people -and the dogs - enjoying themselves on the beach. A little lad sizing up the surfer as he walked by. I wonder what he was thinking? Probably, "I wish I could be like him!"
After the surfer passed by, the little boy just stood there and stared out at the boat in the distance.

This family consisted of three dogs, two surfer boys and the mother and dad. I thought they were very cool and layed back, especially their very lazy dogs!
Now this dog was really "digging" his time at the beach!

See the little Corgi? He was just visiting everyone who walked by. Of course, Heidi would have really loved seeing him!

It certainly looks like you had a great time. Especially since you had to wear jackets! That means it was a whole lot cooler than here. How long does it take to de-sand The Doogs?

What a fun day you have had. I can SEE that Doogs enjoyed his little old self. :) The sand in his beard is too cute. Corgis are just such people doggies.

Ahhh... My kind of day- on the beach, with TOM SELLECK!!!, and your pups! We are missing our dog terribly and are getting close to finding another baby. I would love a Scottie but not sure if my husband would be allergic or not. He managed well with our poodle.

Honey, Tom Selleck has always been my idea of the "sexiest man alive"!! I don't care how old he gets! Outside of my Love Bunny, of course. I doubt that I'd get my nose out of the book if he was in there!! Wooooohoooo, my sweet chick.

Every picture tells a story and what a lovely story book to look at..
I love people watching too but hardly get out of the house these days to do so.. Holidays are coming up soon so I will be sitting on a beach somewhere on this side of the world doing just the same as you.. but without dear Doogs...alas!

What a beautiful beach! A friend of mine took her very elderly dog to the beach a great deal this past Spring. She would carry him out, as he couldn't walk in the sand. She would lay him on a blanket, and he would just enjoy the beach...Sadly, she had to have him put to sleep right around this time. She said she was glad that he'd had such nice days with her at the beach just before he died. Take care, Katie

Eating my heart out, here. Yours is the fourth or fifth blog I've looked at this morning that has photos from their beach vacation posted. I don't get to go this year due to Sweet 16 birthday parties and weddings to pay for. I am glad to do those things, but dang....Couldn't we have done them at the beach?
