I hope I am not too late for our sweet friends, Kari and Kijsa's, Celebrate Our Flag post. I had actually posted the bit below and then found out they were hosting a wonderful day of celebrating our independance. These are photos of our little cottage - decked out in red, white and blue. Like I say below, "Happy 4th to y'all!"

Wishing all of you a wonderful and Happy July 4th!

For those of you serving our great Country, God Bless You and all of the sacrifices you have made. For all of you who have served, thank you from the bottom of my heart.

This day marks the anniversary of the death of my beloved Grandpa George. He served in World War II and ironically passed away on the day he so richly loved.

My father also served our Country and our oldest son currently is. I honor both of you and am so very proud for each and every thing you hold close to your heart - then and now - and that is to be there to whole heartedly represent the people of this amazing place we call home - the United States of Amercia.

For my friend Miss Jean, please pass on to Aaron and Christina a huge hug and thanks from us for also serving in our military forces. ((hugs))

God Bless you and your families and may peace be with you always.

This is a photo from 1918 and is made up of 18,000 men. Now can you only imagine how long this took to do? But, so well worth it!!

Thanks for your tribute to our service men and women. Without them we would not be enjoying life in this great country. I love the photo of the human Statue of Liberty!

Awe-inspiring! Even though there will always be things we don't agree with that goes on in our USA, it is our country, land of the free and brave by the way of many sacrifices of brave men and women, and their families. We honor those in the past and present and future on this great day, July 4th.
Happy 4th to everyone

My sweet sweet dreamer, Carmel is one of my most favorite places on earth to visit. Monterey is a very close second. Just so much "quaint atmosphere" there. I visited Beaumont, Calif yesterday and will post some lovely photos of an antique shop there tomorrow. But Carmel tops my list for all things lovely!
