Light At The End....

Hi there everyone!! I am telling you something, you all are just wonderful! Sweet, kind, concerned, marvelous ~ the whole kit-n-kaboodle of NICE! I shared your comments with my dad. When I handed him the stack of stapled pages of comments I had printed out, he held it and said, "WOW!" Thank you, thank you! Your prayers are working. Yes Polly, faith renewed.

Update: Dad is still hospitalized. They are checking his blood and giving him more meds. We don't want him released before they have him all better. I thank God that he is making progress!!

Ok, I haven't had the chance to take any new photos, but found one I took last month of my kitchen counter that I took after cleaning it. I like to use different things to hold kitchen utensils in, be it an urn, a flower pot, a silver creamer...just as long as the utensils fit and look good in it. I have a few vintage rolling pins that needed something with a "big mouth." The enamel pitcher, with lots of cute little cherries all over it, fit the need. Next to it is a vintage ring holder, minus its lid. I found this cute piece at an antique store and was hoping to find a wood tea pot soap holder. If you haven't heard of these before, The T Party blog shares a story about them here. A few postings above this one, they have photos of some of their ring holders. The pieces are very kitcsh, which I just love anyways!

Enjoy the day! xoxoxo!!

I am so glad to hear your father is doing better! It sounds like he is getting the best of care at the hospital. How touching to hear how he reacted to you sharing the comments. Lets hope the next prayer is answered and he is home and back to good health very soon.

BTW I am going to try and add you to my blog roll, but it was not cooperating with me earlier today. Hopefully it has decided to calm down by now.

Thank-you for the updat on your dad,and please keep us updated as time goes on. I love your lamp on your counter I have one as well. I have notice that people are doing that I love my little light on the counter. That is so funny but I just changed my utensil holder. For now I am using a stainless steal water picture, but it is one of those things that change all the time. That would be a good post starter haveing people taking pictures of there utensil holders.

I love your teapot - I have never seen them here (yet), it is a cute vintage idea... and I love your metal jug utensil holder and glass chicken dish!
I am going to take a picture of my utensil holders!

Hi Becky,
I'm glad your Dad is feeling better and continues to improve. You are both still in my thoughts.

I love your sweet ring holder, I have my Grama's, it was always on her sink and now it's on mine. Not a day goes by I don't think of her.
Hugs, Linda

p.s. Thank you for adding me to your blog list, I'm honored.
