Beautiful Vintage-Home Adornments by Amy Kozma

Look at these
precious little stocking ornaments!
Below is a sweet summer pillow she sold.

Above is a pillow that I bought last Christmas. Doesn't it look just like my little Scotty, Doogs?
I love this cherry pillow - made from a vintage tablecloth remnant and cute matching prints! I did not buy this one, but am sharing the picture that Amy has on her ME page on eBay.
See the little stocking hanging from my tree? This is from last Christmas ~ a tree in the guest bedroom. There are three little Amy stocking socks on this tree.
The candy cane pillow is listed right now, too!
Jolly Ol' Nick is for sale right now - auction ends tomorrow!

Today's post is all about fluff..homemade fluff to be exact! Tons of cute whimsy that is all for sale on eBay by a wonderful textile artist ~ the oh-so-talented Amy Kozma! Do you already know Amy? Some of you may have already purchased something great that she made. I know that Miss Tina, at Cherry Hill Cottage, has several Amy things around her darling cottage. Infact, Tina and I have bought exact pillows made from a vintage tablecloth with red roses on it.

Over the past few years, I started buying Amy's pillows. After the first one, I was hooked. As Amy states on her ME page, "I work with a wide variety of vintage linens and notions and sometimes pair them with modern, vintage-influenced fabrics." I like how she carefully selects the fabrics so that the different fabric designs compliment each other.

Amy has a studied design at the University of Georgia and the Art Institute of Atlanta. She has a wonderful resume, which includes a stint as a needlework designer.

You can find Amy's wonderful handmade creations on eBay under the eBay seller name Vintage-Home. She also has recently started another selling name, Ticking-Stripes, where you can find vintage and antique wares for sale. Stop by and tell Amy "HI" by leaving a question for her on one of her listings. Treat yourself to some wonderful inspiration today!
Note: I don't know what is wrong with blogspot, but I cannot get the spacing right in the paragraphs. So, after several attempts to correct it, I am leaving it as is. grrrrrr.

Hi Becky, hope you had a nice weekend. I love Amy's pillows too. I met her once at the Portland Antique Expo and she bought some vintage pink stripe ticking from me. She really is a sweetie and does such beautiful work. The Scotty Christmas pillow is just perfect for you, I'm not surprised you got it.

Becky,
Love your pillows and Amy's are pretty too.
You might be having trouble with spacing due to spell check. Make sure that you click on Done Spellchecking at the top of your post when you finish. I had spacing problems too that were driving me crazy and discovered that spellchecker was the culpret, hope this helps.
Off to read more one your darling blog.

I love the ornaments. I'm always on the look out for non-breakable ornaments with the Sassy-6 in this house. They just love to knock all of those ornaments to ground and watch them smash on the hardwood floor.

Love,
Julie

Oh, too much gorgeousness! What a talented lady. I guess shipping to Australia would cost a fortune.

I am going to have a look though:-)

I love your little white tree in your guest bedroom. The sampler looks wonderful sitting beside it and, oh my, those beautiful vintage Christmas ornaments! It would be a wonderful treat for any guest to sleep in that room.

I will be making something for the ladies in my quilt group similar to these for our Christmas party. I like doing this instead of a Christmas card as they can hang it in their tree. I simply attach a printed out greeting I type up on the computer and, voila, a unique Christmas card and gift together.

Doogs is just so adorable!!! You make me question our decision once again. We planned on getting a Westie and now are waiting for a Corgi puppy. I do love Scotty dogs. If the mommy Corgi does not go into heat, we may have to rethink our decision anyway. We have been waiting for months for some news.

Hi again Becky! I tried to email twice but it came back to me - Mail error...anyway, in reply to your request, yes of course you can use the picture - please let it be known that it was based on something I saw on the internet - it isn't entirely my idea, and I wont be making them for sale....cheers, Marian
