Blessings

I just keep meeting so many nice ladies out there who blog and would, again, like to thank Lallee at http://lalleescottage.blogspot.com/and Polly at http://countingyourblessings.blogspot.com/(sorry, for some reason the widget won't work) for these lovely goodies.

Awhile back Polly had a posting about giving fabrics away. Can you believe that? Many of you have already been blessed with her lovely gift and now I am one of those lucky gals. Polly, you just knew what I would love, right down to the cherries, roses and polka dots. I will have to make something with these for a giveaway!

Do you remember a few weeks ago that Lallee was having another one of her fun caption contests? This one was for Milo, her son Daniel's cat, who was lazily resting on their treadmill. Yours truly won the contest (shocked, because there were so many great captions) and the prize was an adorable crocheted needle book that was made by Lallee. The one that she was giving away was pink and white, but Lallee has me pegged, too, and I was surprised with a specially made one with a Scotty Dog button on it. I love it and now I have no excuses for not being able to find my needles.

(((HUGS))) to Lallee and Polly!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If I lived close by, I'd take you out for coffee or lunch! You are so sweet and I am blessed again!!!!
PS: The little black scotty dog was a gift last year from my friend Kathy Long in Texas (Miss Tina's sister) and the little white scotty was recently given to me by friend Kerri, at Remember When Antique's. Love to you ladies, too. smiles!!!

Well sweet Becky, consider yourself hugged right back, and the Doogs, too. I need to make my own needle case now. I was down on hands and knees searching before the bubbarinos found it in one of their paws! Thanks for the kind words and I can't wait to see what you do with that fabulous fabric.

Well it all looks so much prettier at your place than it did at mine! I'm so glad that you liked it all. I was worried that some of the gals might be disappointed but everyone has been so kind!! Maybe you can pay it forward for someone else someday in some kind way. Blessings... Polly
