Happily Ever After

San Juan Bautista is home to one of California's historic missions, Mission San Juan Bautista, and also a darling little historic town full of little shops, an ice cream parlor and a delicious old style hamburger stand.

There are two shops there that I am especially fond of. Today's post, however, is about an adorable shop by the name of Happily Ever After. As soon as you walk in the front door, you are greeted with a pleasant "hello" and an offer of help should you need any. The only question I had was which way to go?

The shop offers vintage items, cottage style adornments, reupholstered furniture, mosaic pieces, handmade pillows, lamps, furniture, soaps, mirrors and so much more. I am posting several posts just to be able to share the pictures from the shop.

Happily Ever After's proprietor is Marsha Janda-Rosenberg. Marsha's three other friends also sell and work in the shop. Eleanor (shown in the picture) sells her painted furniture and vintage finds; Pat sells the cottage-shabby items; and Joni makes lamps out of tea pots and does all of the upholstery and sewing. Marsha specializes in mosaic furniture and signs.

Happily Ever After is located at:
107A The Alameda
San Juan Bautista, Ca. 95045
telephone: 831-623-1153

shop hours: Thursday - sunday 11 AM - 5 PM

Be sure to look at the other pics below....

If I ever make it out to CA I'll definitely stop in. I could camp out in that store I think.

Thanks for sharing!

Becky,
We pass by San Juan Bautista all the time and I am always telling my husband that we need to go see the mission. I haven't been there since I was a girl. Now, we have another reason to stop. Thanks so much for sharing this beautiful shop!
