playyyyyyyyyyy ball!

Play Ball…by Fiona J. Roberts

P1010032g

Yup, it is me…Fiona J. – aka: Fee-Jay, Fee-Fi-Fo-Fum,

So-Fee, Feefers, Fee Fee and The Fee-Fanator.

Maw is busy cleaning the house today so I snuck in

to tell you what I’ve been up. I am so jazzed that

the San Francisco Giants are in the playoffs! So

jazzed in fact that I am inspired to play me some

ball!

P1010028f

This is my favorite ball. It is my “red squishy

ball” that I love to have thrown so I can fetch it.

Maw says I look like Maggie Simpson when I am

gnawing on it. It makes a really

annoying sound when I do so! One of my simple

pleasures in life is to chew on the ball long enough

so that it annoys the humans and then they toss

it away….only for me to retrieve

it and hope they are up for a game of fetch.

P1010040f

See, if I put it up on the chair and let it sit there

long enough, Maw will get the hint and finally toss

it for me to chase after. A little human psychology

works good for me!

P1010053d

Yup, that is the ball, Maw. Feel free to throw it

anytime you wish. I will sit here and stare at it until

you do!!!

Stare,

and stare,

and stare!!!

P1010025h

..snicker…and it worked! I got to run around the

house just like my favorite baseball players! Maw

likes Brian Wilson…….though she thinks he was

much cuter without allof the black facial hair. But

whatever works for B. Weezy! “Fear The

Beard”…..us Scotties can so relate to that one!

Duhgall has a nice “manly” beard like

Brian Wilson’s – though Duhgall’s is ala natural with

no need to use “Just For Men” on his! Maw says my

beard resembles Colonel Sanders’ beard. MMM…

makes me want some fried chicken just thinking

about it!!

P1010033h

I had a fun time playing so I think I will just sit here

now and take in the game. Thanks for the visit!

And one last thing…..

Go Giants!!!!

Our Mom is so out dated that the only Brian Wilson she knows is one of the Beach Boys.

But she still can tell a good Scottie when she sees one and she knows she's seeing a sweet Scottie-girl when she sees you.

Just not sure how the giants are doing but what a ball game you guys had. My Winston would have loved to be there and play with the red ball.

ROFLOL!!! Maggie is not much into sports, just like me. That's not to say that we don't mind cute baseball players. Shave the beard, Brian, shave the beard!!!

Fiona, you are just the cutest little girl. Your mama must take you to Ladybugs to see the house dog. She is a cute airedale and is sweet, just like you are.

Maggie says aroooooooo!

I'm with you, Fiona - go Giants! My little Mini Doxie, Joey, isn't as thrilled as you and I but I bet he will be happy when the kids and grandkids come to watch the games and we have something good to eat! He loves the kids and likes to see what they give him to eat!

Animals are so funny! Believe it or not I have a cat that likes to fetch. He will come up to us and drop his little disk, wanting us to flick it to him so he can chase it and bring it back.
How could you not throw Fiona's squishy ball to her she is just so darn cute!
Big Hugs Becky!

I am so jealous of you having a dog. My husband does not like animals of any kind in the house so when I need a "dog fix" I go to my daughter and cuddle with hers. Works for me.

I haven't been by to visit in a while, but I am so glad that I came by today. Fiona always makes me laugh...as for the Giants...well, being on the other side of the country and a die hard Yankees fan, I will stick with them...although after last nights fiasco I may find myself getting to sleep a little earlier. Love baseball no matter what.

Well Miss Fee, you certainly have the expression to get what you want down pat with those adorable eyes. I'll tell you a secret. If the eyes don't do the trick, take your nose and keep poking your maw with it. Trust me, she'll throw the ball. My favorite teams are out of the running for the pennant, so I'll cheer for your team. I don't know about Brian and the beard, but Oliver and Baggins are looking sporty with their new trimmed. Say hey to Doogs for them.

Dear Miss Fiona J Roberts,

I have a BIG CRUSH on you! I will be very happy to share my toys with you including my pooh bear. I removed the stuffing, but he is still fun to fling around the house. I like your pics ~ especially your "fast action" shot.

Your Admirer,
Bentley PP Freeman (PP stands for precious peanut ~ that's what my Momma calls me)

PS: I stare at my Momma too, and when she ignores me I give her a bark to remind her that I am patiently waiting to play.

I have a precious little Fionna in my class this year. A little red head, harmonica player, full of vim and vigor! Miss you and hope we can get together soon! Maybe for a series game :-) Joniqua

Everytime I see your Scotties I want one. I can hardly care for myself, and I know I couldn't subject a little Scottie to my lifestyle.
