A Speck In The Sand

The little

things in life

 are the most
important.

Nothing fancy,

 nothing colorful,

 nothing expensive....

....just the pure enjoyment of the free
things in life that are right in front of us.
As I get older, I guess my outlook on life is different than when I was a younger woman.  Sometimes we all feel like just a little speck on the planet, but just remember that God knows how many hairs we have on our head - so that is a pretty darn important speck, if you ask me.  To be loved like that makes this little speck in the sand very happy.

That's all.

Note:  I had to turn on word verification - SORRY GIRLS - because I've been enundated with hundreds of spam comments.  Those WV's are tough on my eyes and I get flustered when having to type them in, however I had to do this for my blog until blogger can take care of the issue.  I had over 200 comments left since yesterday - which is my no means a norm for me with my little blog - so it was a bit disappointing to see that they were mostly all links to some unknown sites, which I am sure were network pollution.  If any of you are having the same problem, then you will understand.
Till next time...

Becky, this is such a sweet post. This time of year can be very hard, as you well know, when we are hurting. God knows and Loves us so much. I send you a hug.

It's so true, isn't it??? It's easy to think that we're just one in a million.....while we are ONE IN A MILLION (and many more) to Him.... I love knowing that He knows how many hairs on are my head and I often chuckle about it since they're falling out like CRAZY...

Happy Day!

Becky your on the beach and I'm freezing my buns off here in Louisiana. LOL. Beautiful beach, and looks like Doogs and Fiona are having a good time. Very smart and sweet post. I love a challenge with words so the goofy words don't bother me. I don't blame you.

It truly is the little things in life that make us the happiest. And speaking of little things, I thought of you today when I bought 3 vintage elves like the ones your mother gave to your brother. Yes, I still laugh when I think of your favorite elves going to your brother instead of you. :@

Now I'm going to see how good my eyesight is.

*I changed my comment setting from "anybody" to those with an account and that stopped my spam comments. Although I only had one or two a day.

I am so sorry you have so much spam. It is just crappy that they can't figure out a way to prevent that from coming through.

Anyway, your pictures and post are beautiful! xo Diana

Hi Becky,
Ahhh. A walk along the water's edge. How wonderful!
I often continually reminded that if I was the only one on earth God would have still sent His Son to redeem me. But, we are numbered as great as the stars in the sky and the grains of sand on the shore...We really are all precious in His sight.
Blessings, my dear friend,
Carolynn xoxo

I love a beach post, Becky.
So sorry to read about the spam problem. I think you're doing the right thing, as the spam is a terrible aggravation. I hope it disappears soon!
