One of my favorite “winter” foods to make is "Green Soup” (as my boys dubbed this). A hearty Lentil and Pea soup that is sure to fill you up and make your tummy feel all warm and fuzzy. I have posted this recipe before – but just in case you haven’t tried it out…just click HERE to take you to the link.
Stay warm and cozy!

It's one of my favorites too. I serve it with a tsp of sherry in each bowl, or thick chunks of kielbasa sausage. MMMM
Love to make this soup after I have had a Honey Baked Ham. You stay warm and COZY, too.
Becky I will try it out since it is suppose to be 32 degrees here in the morning. I am tired of eating left over turkey and dressing. Ugh!!! Soup sounds good.
Thanks green is fine with me.
Yum, I love pea soup, so why haven't I made it in ages? Sometimes I just need a reminder...thanks:>)

Oh...that looks so good....Split pea is one of my all-time favorites....(but, the hunk of crusty bread is what really makes it...) Hope you're having a wonderful weekend! Smiles & Hugs ~ Robin

You know I don't really like peas, and neither does my husband, but we both love homemade pea soup. Just seeing your photo here makes me want to make some.
Blessings,
Marcia
