Vintage Christmas decorations conjure up memories of my childhood...
...and of hours I would spend analyzing each ornament that my grandmothers, aunts and mother would painstakingly hang from the limbs of their Christmas tree.
"Hey Santa", says Mr. Scotty, "I think you need to wash your hair!"There is just a sweetness about them....
....and look cute displayed in a cabinet.
This cabinet was a birthday present this year from my husband and, for now, it holds some of my favorite little items.Old 50's Santas sit on top and below is "Becky" along with an Empire Light plastic
Santa.
This little angel captured my heart - even though her tule is pulled away from her wire wings. But that is ok....she is still sweet.
Some old vintage salt shakers...
...and a little choir boy who is still holding on to his candle after all these years.
This little Santa was crocheted by my Nanny years ago and is my childrens favorite ornament of all time.
Such happy fellas....
...and a hungry little scotty boy!
