I love the softness of all white with just a little color tucked in here and there. I recently found this little lampshade for 3.00 at an estate sale. It is very, very feminine with chantilly lace and a soft blue ribbon. The shade also has a lovely scallops - kind of like a seashell...well, almost kinda.
These vintage bisque dolls are from Japan and are just the perfect dose of sweetness tucked inside this old matte white pottery vase. The little scotties to the left would agree, too.
This old pie keeper is full of my white pottery pieces. A wider view shows some of my white scotties, which are some of my favorite pieces. The one on the far right is a bookend and the two on the far left are old pottery vases.

Loved all the white..I'm getting ready to do some white shelves when I get home..I have my stash with some fun finds here and there. Love your Scotty vases/bookends. Don't cha just love that satin/silky white pottery? I never know what that is called. You know when you see it tho, and you can tell what it's going to feel like.
I am loving white lately too. Maybe because it's summer but I have really pulled more white and cream into my decorating this summer and less color.

Our holiday by the sea comes to an end today. (I think its a mistake, but I read it was 100 plus in our neck of the woods, mistake right?) There is an older couple here with a Scotty. I think of you every time I see them..because of the Scotty..not because they are elderly. lol...I have a funny story to tell you later..my 'retired husband'..well somethings just make a guy mad.
