Farmhouse Friday

For today we are hopping on our farmhouse tractor and taking a little cruise around the good ol’ USA for some farmhouse viewing. Here are some lovely homes that I thought I would share with you that I found today via the internet. My favorite is the first one as it has gorgeous bones and a stunning backyard with a million dollar view. So come along and take a little drive around the old homesteads with me.

  2. I'm loving both the Virginia and the Texas houses. Don't think I'd like the Texas climate though, so I'll have to move into the one in Virginia. Ha ha, don't I wish?

  5. "O" my goodness Becky, I fell in love with 2 of them for sure. Gosh they are beautiful. Gee I wonder if that horse comes with the house, heck we could save on gas and feed the horse hay. :) I think the hay would be a lot cheaper.

  6. The first in Virginia and those pocket doors in Texas. Guess that would be a tough marriage. =)

  7. Even though the Texas one is great and a good price, I think I like the first one best, too. The small house which i think was the third picture, reminds me of the house I grew up in!

I love looking at other houses. I really don't like the house we bought. We bought it to get our kids in the school here. I didn't think we were going to stay. I hate the thought of moving now. So I need to be happy where I am planted and make this house what I want it to be. But boy is it fun to dream!

  12. When I see those beautiful houses and compare them to something similar here in the Pacific Northwest I'm stunned! Multiply by 4 to approach a price up here - makes me wish to move!

  16. Feel free to wrap any of them up and mail them to me! Truthfully, it's the land around them that's begging me to raise sheep, add more chickens and plan a huge veggie garden. Spring fever? Big time!
