Mr. Grinch....

A little note to say that Mr. Grinch - yes, that nasty green faced creature - snuck into my home PC and left a nasty little Grinch style present .... a much unappreciated and most annoying of gifts - a virus. I had hoped to sit down with a hot cup of coffee, some toast and sit in my jammies to catch up on your lovely blogs and emails. HOWEVER, our PC is compromised and it may take some time to get it to a "safe" place to log into it with personal info. I am writing this from my nephew's PC - thank you, Mr. L.!!

Till then, just be on the lookout for that creepy green faced Grinch who is sneaking into your system to tell you that you are infected and MUST download THEIR software to get rid of the virus. It is a solid green screen (so Grinch style) and reads: YOUR SYSTEM IS INFECTED.

Till next time, stay safe, warm and cozy.

  1. I have actually seen that before and immediately felt suspicious and turned my computer off! Hope you get things going quickly, why must people do things like that?

  2. DEAR BECKY,
THAT IS OUTRAGEOUS....I THOUGHT YESTERDAY SOMETHING WAS WRONG WITH OUR E-MAIL BECAUSE WE KEPT RECEIVING THIS ODD MESSAGE AND IT WOULD NOT LET US INTO OUR E MAILS BUT NOW WE THINK IT WAS DO TO THE HEAVY SNOW AND HEAVY DEMAND OF PEOPLE USING THE COMPUTER FOR CHRISTMAS.
I DON'T KNOW WHY PEOPLE DO THESE THINGS TO INNOCENT PEOPLE WHO JUST MIND THEIR OWN BUSINESS...IF IT HAPPENS TO US I WILL JUST BE OUT A COMPUTER BECAUSE WE CAN'T AFFORD ANYTHING TO PAY FOR. I'M SO SORRY YOU HAVE TO NOW CONTEND WITH THIS.
IF I DID NOT TELL YOU, THE CARD WAS GORGEOUS AND FAITH IS WHAT WE MUST ALWAYS HAVE....THAT IS WHY AMY WORE HER MUSTARD SEED UNTIL SHE HAD HER TRACH AND THEN SHE WORE IT ON HER WRIST....THAT IS WHY THE POINTER ON MY BLOG IS A BUMBLE BEE....BECAUSE IT IS SCIENTIFICALLY IMPOSSIBLE FOR A BUMBLE BEE TO FLY BECAUSE OF HIS SIZE, YET HE FLIES. A BUMBLE BEE IS A MIRACLE OF GOD.
I THOUGHT OF YOU SO MUCH ON CHRISTMAS DAY AS WE PRAYED AND THEN ATE. I HAD A SEVERE PANIC ATTACK AND BEGAN TO CRY AND MY PRECIOUS SON, TALKED ME THROUGH IT AND I WAS ABLE TO MAKE IT TO MOTHER'S HOUSE. TEARS/LAUGHTER/TEARS AND IT WAS A BEAUTIFUL TIME.
I KNOW YOU AND KNOW YOUR CHRISTMAS WAS BEAUTIFUL WITH TEARS.
I HOPE THE GREEN GRINCH GETS CAUGHT.

I love your 'New Room' look also, and that you had a nice Christmas, although I know it wasn't an easy one...I understand.

  10. Oh, I so hate those things! Scares you half to death and you don't know whether to click or not. Don't people have anything more useful and worthwhile to do? They can come help me deliver Meals On Wheels. Give them something gratifying to do with their brains than sit around and create viruses.
