That Nasty "D" Word!

P1010046ySo what is the nasty “D” word?
Not “Duhgall".
Not “Dundee”.

Not “dining” room hutch with some of my scottie dog collections on it.

It is D.U.S.T.
Can’t live without it!  (Oh yes I can!)
The 18 year old Berber is O.U.T. and the laminate is in!  Now there is a “good” word that starts with a “D” and that is D.O.N.E.

Now on to the next redo and I will share about that in the next few weeks.  And with the hustle and bustle going on here, I am going to do the giveaway in October.  I hope it will be worth the wait.  :)  It has something in common with my next project.  A little hint:  kind of farmhouse style.  I know, such a tease, such a tease.

  1. Can't wait to see it. We have removed most of the carpet in our house and replaced with laminate wood also and I love it. The only carpet left is in the living room and master bedroom. Can't wait to see your farmhouse style.

I bet you are so happy! When we had the carpet replaced in the bedrooms on my goodness the Dust! I think I still have dust. Now I have to start filling all the nail holes and sanding getting ready to paint the molding (more dust)

  8. Hello, sweetpea, I have something to tell you and cannot find an email on your site to talk privately. Could you come over to my blog, click on my email and I've got something that you might consider? This is NOT a sales pitch; it's a friendly help. I don't want to post it on your blog. Thanks!
    xoxo,
    Connie

  13. You are such a tease... rather Dastardly, in a Delightful sort of way. Day in and day out now, I deviate from my direction to your blog for a dose of diversion, and darned if I don't deign to dream of decorating my dwelling with your dash and drama. I'll keep dabbling and drawing inspiration from you and the blogosphere, and documenting my progress as I dare. Don't delay and draw soon for a giveaway!

  23. What? We don't get to see yet??? Rats. Glad you're making progress. As for the "dust" - I seem to have an over-abundant supply these days - and it has nothing to do with re-do's....If you get lonely for some, lemme know. ;o) Smiles & Hugs ~ Robin

  25. I know it's so hard to live with the dust while renovating. Some times in the midst of it... I wonder is it all worth it? It's worth it always! I'd love for you to follow me at Pinehurst Cottage. I'm starting a new blog. Please come on our journey while we buy a vacation cottage and the renovation of it. I'd love your input! ~Amy
