I just had to share this super cool and unusual piece with you today! My friend, Mr. Tracy, brought this piece into the store a few weeks ago to sell in his space. I have never seen a banana box like this, have you? The only ones I have laid my peepers on are the cardboard ones in the produce section of the grocery store.
Just look at the old worn wood, the super fantabulous metal handle, and distressed yellow paint! Old goodness to the maximus!
It is marked to sell under $80.00. If you are at all interested, it is for sale at The Antique Warehouse – here’s the address and blog, too.
I love it!!!!!! Never seen anything like it before either! It will sell quickly!!!

ReplyDeleteGreat looking box!
ReplyDeleteIt is wonderful and yellow is my fav color but it's a bit pricey for my budget. I'm sure it worth every penny though because I've never seen anything like it! What a treasure! How can he part with it?
ReplyDeleteVery unusual. Who knew they grew bananas in North Dakota? Just kidding!

ReplyDeleteBecky I have never seen a wooden one either. That would be great to decorate with. The second pic on the Antique Wearhouse page has my coke machine on it. I have one just like that on my back porch.
ReplyDeleteThe kids love it, and it's great when you are working in the yard and want something to drink just go to the back porch.

I have one! We bought it over 20 years ago at Renninger's in Adamstown, PA. I have always used it next to my firepace to store firewood in it.
