Years back my mother gave me this antique German flask with a spirited and jolly old Santa on the front. I laughed at the humor in it – and kind of feel like this today…balancing both hands with things that need to be done around the house.
Priorities…like Santa, only with coffee!
You might like a little hot chocolate with a drop of peppermint schnapps! it goes very well with decorating!
ReplyDeleteI love your Santa mug. Wonder how old it is. I'll take the coffee, too. :)
ReplyDeleteThe balancing act, at times, can be difficult. Love the sweet little flask and those bottle brush trees are too cute.

Wow - what a gorgeous flask...I don't believe I've ever seen anything like that before....Hope you're having a wonderful Sunday....Smiles & Hugs ~ Robin
ReplyDeleteI love that flask. I have never seen anything even close to it, so you have a rare Christmas treasure here.
ReplyDeleteWhat an adorable piece Becky. I know what you mean about balancing, I've been doing quite a bit of that myself lately!
ReplyDeleteJust popping by to see what you've been up to, it's been awhile since I visited. Those black bottom cupcakes look divine and the "green soup" - yumm!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the season!

Love it Becky. I spotted that flask right off the bat. It is truly beautiful and yep I know
ReplyDeletehow old Santa feels sometimes.
I do the same thing only with
coffee too.
This is great! A wonderful treasure with a sense of humor! :) Kit
ReplyDeleteI think we all feel like this at this time of year. We just need to recharge our batteries once in awhile. When I drive by homes and see Christmas trees and lights already, I catch my breath for a second. But I know better to hold myself up to others standards. So I am taking it slow, and yes, I have a lot of coffee!
ReplyDeleteXO,
Jane
PS...Made your Black Bottom Cupcakes. They were delish but you forgot the sugar. I caught it in time! lol!
I so get that Becky,
ReplyDeleteLove ya, Amy

ReplyDeleteNeat post. I'm going to try your soup recipe this week. Cold and gloomy around here. Soup time.
ReplyDeleteI haven't been by in awhile....I sure enjoyed catching up, reading through till I hit bottom. Looks like you've got more than a good start to your Christmas decor. Everything was so warm and inviting. I would imagine you've got a few scented candles burning to match the mood of your festive setting.
ReplyDeleteYou know it's said rum-eggnog from a flask enhances the flavor. {-;
Sweet holiday wishes,
