schtuffkies

P1010044

When life gives you busy, then turn to the schtuffkies. So what is schtuffkies? (pronounciation: Shh-tuff-kies – definition: stuff, fodder, cuteness, whimsical junk). You know when you are so busy and have no time to take pictures of something new and wonderful? What do you do?

P1010043

You just simply flip through the endless pages in your picture folder (y'all know what I am talking about....???), pull out the stuff that makes you smile….

P1010068a

…or inspires you to create again…

P1010046

…and then SHAZAM!!! (and use your best Gomer Pyle Shaaaazam voice..) There you have it, a post! Lalalalala!!!! Singing like a song bird!

P1010067a

Now speaking of creating…..

P1010064a …I do need to make another quilt out of vintage sheets! Maybe even some ruffled tote bags…and the good Lord knows I have enough sheets to sew with for days and days – maybe even years and years.

**sigh**

There you have it…a schtuffkies post. So tell me about your schtuffkies….

  2. To tell you the truth Becky, I have very few schtuffkies in the house. It's a small home and I hate to dust so I have just a few things on shelves in the living room and kitchen and that's it! I always enjoy yours though, kind of like I imagine grandkids. Fun to hang out with for a while but you love that they go home with someone else. lol!
I love that vintage sheet quilt, wouldn't some of those prints look adorable as your ruffled bag?

  17. Uwh* Under diress, you never know what will strike my fancy. For example, I had some bad news last week. Now I have 15 vintage pie plates that have been coming in the mail (via ebay)and that are sitting next to my desk at work, for fear of bringing them home with me. I think the birdies are much cuter! I will have to remember that the next time I am out of control. New fabric always helps me too!
