Pretty French Linens

P1010021f

I love my small collection of French linens that are…

P1010020h

….beautiful crisp cottons with gorgeous fringes and lace…

P1010025g

…and pretty little personalized monograms….

P1010024f

…that are simply displayed over an old iron ladder.

Sweet little luxuries of days gone by.

  4. These are lovely. I adore crisp vintage linens. I actually get a thrill out of ironing them too! I love the way they smell afterwards. I'm doing a set of Vintage design Scottie flour sack towels this weekend that I will posting next week. Keep an eye out!

  5. There's nothing much more pleasant to a homemaker than her linens. Embroidered French linens are all the better.

  9. Really pertty. The old linens are just so much better quality thn you can get now. Just like the last generation that couldn't bear to use them and use them up, we are saving some for the next generation to love aren't we?

  10. Adore them with the little touches of red. You have impeccable taste. I love that quilt. I am trying to find a red and white one for my bedroom and cannot find one I like. I love yours.

  16. I have my great grandmother's linen, she lived in Paris. We made them into crib sheets, I love the way feel, the cotton is so thick and luxurious. How lucky is my boy?
