……well, it got your attention now didn’t it? *insert smile here*
My hubby doesn’t get much blog time action, but I do believe that he is quite deserving of some. Let me brag a little about him, if you don’t mind….
My guy is very talented and quite creative…yes he is! He can draw a mean locomotive – and in great detail – on an Etch-A-Sketch. Not only can he draw quite well, but he also can make beautiful jewelry. He isn’t a jewelry maker by trade, although you wouldn’t know it.
Awhile back he found a darling little acorn and decided to cast it and make some sterling silver charms for Christmas presents. Besides the acorns, he also made some teensy tiny pinecone charms, too. Because I love squirrels so much, he knew I would fancy an acorn – and he was right!!
I just love my little acorn….
actually I am quite “nuts” over it!!
….thank you, honey!!!!!!
What a special gift for him to have and make for you. :)
ReplyDeleteWow -- that's beautiful Becky! And he can draw with an etch-a-sketch? That's pretty cool!
ReplyDeleteOh. My. Word. How wonderful! He'll probably need to start taking orders, don't you think?!
ReplyDeleteTell the Mr. we are nuts about it, too! (Watch out for the squirrels, they might steal it and go and hide it on you!)
XOXO
Joni

ReplyDeleteHow gorgeous! If he decides to make some more for sale, I would love to buy one!
ReplyDeleteI see that you don't corner the market on talent in your family! That necklace is beautiful!!! I love it:) I love watching squirrels and seeing them play especially... ok, that is more in the spring... and ok, that is more than playing, but you know what I mean! We use to have one that lived on our property that was missing a paw(?) and his tail... but he was quite a survivor and still managed to balance well.
ReplyDeleteSo precious! We love our squirrels over here, too. We now have two little ones who will eat right out of our hand. Hope you are having a lovely 2011!!
ReplyDeleteCheers,
Andrea
