This little corner is a favorite spot of mine – that is when Mr. Duhgall isn’t warming the chair. My dear friend, Sinta (The Pink Pincushion blog), sent us the beautiful quilt that hangs over the back. (And she wasn’t sure what colors would work in the room…..it couldn’t be more perfect!)
Do you have a favorite corner in your home? What makes it special for you?
Till the next post….be sure to be good to YOU. Do something nice for yourself, ok? Even if it is just having a few quiet moments to sit in your favorite cozy corner. YOU deserve it, right? Yea, that’s right!
Hi Becky,
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful pictures of your home .. Soo warm and inviting as always !! I soo enjoyed looking at all your Christmas .. I'm in LoVe with all your elves .. where oohh where did you find soo many ?! I'm always on the look out, and they are few and far between .. I think they have the sweetest, mischevious faces on them .. adorable !!
Thanks for your kind words you left on my last post .. tough times .. We are all looking up, and taking a day at a time .. After all, this is the happiest, most promising of the seasons .. Our Christs' birth, and to this, is our hope .. right !! God is good my friend ..thinking of you and your family at this time, and wishing you only peace and JoY ~
Big Hugs ~TeA~ xo

ReplyDeleteMy cozy corner is in my bedroom, but I still have not found the perfect chair, so it is not as cozy as I would like it to be....

I have 2 favorite spots actually, sugar. One is a large comfy leather chair with nailheads in it in our living room. The other is a chair I've had recovered 3x in our family room. They are both comfy and cushy and I love them both. Your spot is lovely!

Pretty and Cozy! We have a comfy chair in our bedroom that is similar to this one. The cushion is down filled and sooooo perfectly squishy.
ReplyDeleteI need to throw a pretty quilt across the back....
Have a wonderful week!
~Liz
Looks like the perfect spot to me, snuggly, cosy, and warmly inviting.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the beauty that you see and the beauty that you share.
ReplyDeleteHi Becky.
ReplyDeleteYou have the sweetest of homes! Every corner seems like a special place of rest. :o) What a sweet friend to send a quilt to you. It looks lovely on your chair. :o)
Thank you for the permission to do something nice. Even a warm cup of coffee in the afternoon is a treat, that I forget to take and as I type, my cup slowly empties. :o) Simple pleasures indeed. :o)
Now that I am learning how to quilt, I am creating special little places in my home as well. :o) The one that comes to mind is a corner in the master bedroom, where my husband has a comfy chair, table and lamp. He loves sitting there reading his Bible or putting his shoes on. We need more corner like that. :o)
I hope you have a wonderful Christmas.
Sincerely - Trish
So comfy! I don't have a comfy corner yet but working on one.....
ReplyDeleteWishing you much joy this season..
Would you please email me @QuiltMom180@aol.com and give me your mailing address. I had it from when you sent my sweet little heart pillow, but I have misplaced it. And I can't find your email address either. I'm a hopeless case, aren't I? Thanks so much. Give Duhgall and Fiona a hug for me!!! Love & blessings from NC!
ReplyDeleteOoh so cozy Becky...I have quiet places too...
