great bloomin’ summertime!

P1010005a

Great big blooms in shades of pink and whites....

P1010007a

…..and plenty of bumble bees stirring about for a taste of sweet nectar. I just love the flowers of summer and the beauty that they bring to brighten even the warmest of days.

Before I take a little break, I just want to thank each and every one of you for all of the lovely comments left in my last post!!!! You just made my day! Seriously!! The room was a joy to put together and super fun to be able to finally share with you. Many of you shared that thrift store prices aren't so "thrifty" anymore and I have to agree. Some do have "sale" days and you can get better deals there. The good buys are out there! Happy scouting!

Time to don the apron and get to making some more of those chocolate chip cookies, too!

Till next time, have a good one! Enjoy the week and do something nice for yourself. :)

My heart did a little pitter patter when I saw the scottie apron. Adorable!

  6. Love your flowers. They certainly cheer up the landscape. Yes thrifting has become big business. I see thrift stores popping up everywhere. And prices are going up too. But there are still bargains to be had, with a little searching. Have a wonderful week!

  12. Both of your last two posts have taken my breath away! First that gorgeous bedroom (that I'm coveting like crazy) and now the gardens of your home (that I'm coveting some more). I live in the CA desert and could never grow anything like that. Thanks so much for the break from my reality :)

  37. Hi Becky!

What beautiful blooms! I read the entire post of your bedroom redo, and I just love how you pulled everything together! I just love this style. I love Tina's house, and her sister's too. I wish her sister would make a blog! I collect some of those vintage pictures too. I haven't found a place to hang them yet, but I am thinking of making my sun porch in the colors you have used, and putting them out there. Now I feel inspired. Hope it is cool where you are!

    Hugs,
    Debbie from NJ
