This is Bertha…..a friendly greeter in the yard of a very sweet lady, Patty, who makes wonderful Scottie dog ceramics. I just had to share Bertha with y’all! She has attitude and curves to boot! She’d make a cute girlfriend to the scarecrow in The Wizard Of Oz!
Just wanted to say HOWDY and now I am off to finish my Christmas decorating…….....confession…….I am Mrs. Slowsky!
xoxo
Bertha is outa sight the best looking scarcrow that I've ever laid eyes on! Love her outfit!

The Blue Ridge Gal
you've been 'buttoned'!...come see :)
ReplyDeleteDon't worry about being slow. I haven't even started to decorate, or buy anything! I've had a quilting project that had to be finished first so I didn't allow myself to start on Christmas until it was done. I just now finished it, so now I can get my hubby to drag the stuff out of the attic and begin to decorate the house.
ReplyDeleteBertha is very cute. I love her attitude!
I love Bertha! She's got attitude!
ReplyDeleteBrenda
I think I had a dress just like Bertha in 1982. One of my favorites! She's a cutie. Mimi
ReplyDeleteI love that Bertha has a name, lol. ;) Can't wait to see your Christmas decor!
ReplyDeleteBertha is fabulous! Don't feel bad we were to put up our tree today but here it is 6:10PM and no tree yet. I suggested to my husband lets put it up first thing tomorrow morning and just RELAX tonight. Maybe watch a few Christmas movies. Becky...we had our first snow today. I would say we got about 2" of the fluffy stuff. Really is beautiful to see during the Christmas season. Have a lovely weekend Becky!!
ReplyDeleteBertha is a hoot! Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteOh boy! Miss Bertha is too cute! I love how she stands guard! :o)

Decorating is an "on-going" thing in my house too! Just got the tree done - now another to do in the sunroom...then time to decorate the front outside porch...then I can finally say "finished!'
ReplyDeleteHappy decorating!
:)
Rochelle
I'm slow too, this year. No tree and no indoor decorations up yet. Bertha looks like a big-boned girl, but has a unique charm.
ReplyDeleteMiss Bertha is adorable! She surely is one snappy dresser!
ReplyDeleteBertha is a beauty! Nice outfit! I am still working on my hoiday decor! One entire day wasn't enough! But it's enjouable... like a slow novel!
