Bird D-O-G Doogie

Dumb old pigeons! They are like flying rats! I don't like them and they really bug me!! They get into our chimney and root around making their "cooing" sounds which really bother me while I attempt to lounge on mom and dad's couch. If I sit here long enough, perhaps one will fly out so I can chase it!
I hear them.....
....listen.....can you hear them, too?
They leave nasty bird poop on our pool deck and it makes my momma really angry, especially when she gets the gooey stinky stuff wedged into her toes. She goes wicked crazy when that happens!
For now I will make my rounds and let them know that I, Mr. Doogie Bird Dog, am on watch now. As Clint Eastwood would say, "Go ahead, make my day!"
Ya hear me birds?
That's right...I am the Bird D-O-G Doogie P. - ya betta watch out!

  1. Oh, big brother Doogie! Is that how you are supposed to look chasing birds? I'm afraid I am not very lady-like. I run around like crazy. Round and round
I go. But I don't bark. Mommy wouldn't like that at all. We have nice birds. Cute little ones and sometimes blue jays. Flying Rats! Ooh, that would scare me. But you would save me, big brother. Wouldn't you?

I would love to come over and play one day. I will try my best to use the correct "facilities" and be on my best behavior.

Thank you for the kong. It was so kind of you. It tasted really good and Mommy had to take it away from me. I guess you are not supposed to eat them!

Call me, big bro, and I'll come over to play!

    Love, your "sista" Maggie

  2. Doogie - Ya gotta come visit us out here in frozen Wisconsin. We got B-I-G birds. Mom calls them turkeys. They strut right outta the woods and down by the house like they owns the place! This is Scottie Acres....not turkey acres! Can't they read??? And them deer! Every night they come and we yell at them and they don't listen. Mom won't let us outta the fence ta chase 'um!If she did they would be mincemeat I tell ya!

  7. Way to go "Mr Bird Dog". You show em who is boss. I just have fun chasing all those flying things and the ones with the long fuzzy tail that go up the trees(mama calls them her squirrels), don't really know what I would do if I caught one.
    Love you, cute thing.

  22. Doogs looks very dapper on patrol. Surely the pigeons will flee at his site. Good excuse to buy more shoes ;-) Love all the pics. He's just so handsome in all the poses.

  23. Dear Doogie,
Hello, my name is Zoe and I am a pug! My "mom" said to tell your "mom" to try one of those plastic Owls, you can maybe find one in a store that sells garden or hunting stuff. Place him where those nasty pigeons can see him and we have been told that they keep pigeons away!
Good Luck, I do not have to worry about keeping stuff away from my house, we have vultures who visit from time to time, but I stay far away from them!
    Your new friend,Zoe

  27. Oh Doogs..if only you could come to my house and I'd show you some rats you can chase to your heart's content. They are called squirrels and they can't fly..tho they can jump, run, climb, stomp their feet and cuss.
