"Choppin' It Up Menu Impromptus Board"

Frederic Chopin makes a perfect backdrop for my Menu Impromptus board.
Just take an old clip board, add a bit of sheet music for the background..
...make a little MENU tag with some stamps, old paper and brown the edges with some coffee grounds (careful not to smudge the ink), add an old clothespin and twine...
and you have a board to display what is on the menu for eats.

Hope all of you had a lovely Mother's Day!! Miss Fiona will be getting her first haircut today so off to get the babes to the groomer.

  3. What a cute idea. This would make a fantastic gift for a couple of my friends. Having a menu like this might eliminate the nightly question from my sons "Mom, what's for dinner???" LOL.

  4. Love the board! It is soooooo pretty. I know a certain little blonde haired child of mine that would love it. I'll have to show it to her.

Oh, I can't wait to see Fiona after she has her "coming out" haircut. They go in as little puppies and come out as young adults. Sniff. They grow up so fast.....

  14. Hey Beck!

I LOVE the menu board...so clever and cute! It's always fun to see your creations! Can't wait to see Fiona's first "do"...I remeber Maddie's first cut...she was not a happy camper and could never tolerate a bow...but there's nothing like the fresh fluffiness of a good grooming :o) Hope your Mother's day was a good one girl...I thought of you and said a prayer. Take care friend!

    Hugs & Blessings,
    Becky S.
