I may not have a Jeannie in a bottle, but I did find this
super cool rusty cast metal Jeannie looking urn a few
months back. No luck having three wishes to be
granted, but it does make for a cute display piece to
set my little pinecone pixies.
Just added some large exselsior tucked in a few trees
(yup, those trees again) and some little cute faced
gents. Their expressions melt my heart.
Little guy on the right is saying to the chap on the
left, “Man, you sure can
play that sax beautifully!
Please play me another song! How about
‘Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas’
…all jazzy and blues soundin’.”
Now I have Christina Aguilera’s “Jeannie In a Bottle”
song in my head. And speaking of her, anyone
watching The Voice this season? I’m hooked and
hoping for Cassadee to win, but am fond of Terry,
too. Love his Scottish accent…Just saying….
Love your "little people"...so cute. I didn't get into The Voice this year like I have in the past. They find some awesome talent though. xo Diana
ReplyDeleteThis is adorable! Oh no, now I have that song stuck in my mind too. I haven't been watching it, but always hear the buzz.
ReplyDeleteI just love this vignette! I was sold when I saw the rusty urn. Those two little guys are just adorable and you can never go wrong with bottle brush trees.
ReplyDeleteLove your little elves. They look like they are having fun!
ReplyDeleteJudy
That really is the neatest old urn and you found the perfect little group to 'live' there! I love it! Happy holidays!
ReplyDeleteYour Pixies look right at home in that rusty urn. Who knows what magic they'll stir up now that they're out and about!
ReplyDeleteSo, so sweet!!! Wishing you a beautiful week!! xo Heather
ReplyDeleteWhat fun find!! Looks great!

Your little elves sure are cute. Maybe if you rub the lamp you will get your wish. I love the show the voice too. I was partial to Melanie who went home last week.

I'm catching up with all your Christmas decorating and loving it all!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great rusty piece - I adore rust and peeling paint!!
ReplyDeleteI love the paper in the bottle too...Thank you for always having such inspiring posts...smiles..Renee
ReplyDeleteHey Becky I know that sax player, I think I saw him in New Orleans about 45yr. ago. Oh I know it was him because it was the night my hubby purposed. Yup, he's still playing...looking real good for his age. Love your rusty iron urn. Of course I am into The Voice and I want Cassadee to win too. Fantastic talent on there.
ReplyDeleteCute ..hope you are having a wonderful Christmas season....blessings to you and yours.
ReplyDeleteI'm hooked on "The Voice", also! The top 4 are all so talented, it's difficult to choose only one. Will be watching the 3 next week. Your little elves are cute.

Becky, I think that's the prefect "Jeannie" urn, and I think your little friends agree! How cute they are!
ReplyDeleteWhen I was little, we had the neatest little collection of elves dressed in red. It seems that there was an elf band, and my aunt had one, too. I love the fact that the bodies are out of pine cones. So cute and sweet and vintage.
Was thinking of you today and wanted to drop by to wish you a very Merry Christmas!
XO,
Sheila
Cute, cute, cute!
ReplyDeleteBrenda

ReplyDeleteJust look at the sweet expression on your little people's faces...Just darling!
Blessings, my friend!

ReplyDeleteI'm sure you're busy with the holidays. I haven't been in blogland much over the past several months, but wanted to let you know about the video I just posted of Jordan and his wife. I think you'll love it. Have a wonderful Christmas!!

Hey girl! The card and the little Scottie was so very very sweet and he hangs on my tree as we speak! I must send you picture of the fire place. We have about finished the room but the wood burning stove is in and it looks wonderful on the tile. We moved into the new room three days before Christmas so I was frazzled over the holidays but as usual being with my son and brother were all I needed to enjoy the day... Praying that you had a day filled with laughter and love.. You are special in my heart... I will send pictures soon...
ReplyDeleteHi Becky!
