upon us, that means spring will soon be at our door. Glorious new rebirthing of trees, flowers and the warmth of the sun on our skin. My friend, Sandi, is adding touches of spring florals and collectibles to her beautiful shop. It makes me anxious for the new season to come. But till then, I will patiently wait until winter exits. The photos are all from The Green Pea – Sandi’s antique store here in Central California.
I hope you enjoyed the tour and were inspired to be thinking about fluffing your home for spring. Simple accents like the small milk bottle with a little deer moss inside and a petite bird nest on top will make any home feel like spring has sprung.
In my last post I shared other photos from The Green Pea. If you have a chance to visit in person, just click
for her blog and address.
Sending sweet wishes for the New Year.

Good Morning, Becky,
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing such lovely photos with us...we have no snow, so a brown Christmas this year. Pretty drab! The warm colors of spring will be very welcome.
Happy New Year to you and your family. I look forward to our continued blog friendship in 2012. I always enjoy visiting you here. ~Natalie

Your friend has a wonderful shop! Hasn't this weather just jump~started our hearts for Spring?! I love racking our leaves up in the early evening! Still in the 70's that late. Heaven! Happy New Year my sweet friend! xox
ReplyDeleteIt's hard to picture spring right now with the heavy snowfall coning down today, but the days ARE getting shorter.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely shop! I especially love the old bicycles with baskets in front and would love to find one for our yard. They always remind me of The Wizard of OZ.
Happy New Year!
Happy New Year to you and your family Becky!!! I love the brass bed, the mantel shelf would be mine if I lived closer and so would some of those watering cans.
ReplyDeleteI have a collection of those. Her shop is awesome and is looking a
little like Spring for sure. Oh, how I want to shop there....:(.
Thanks for sharing and giving me a peek at what I am missing. Love, Love, Love it!!!
Oh what a pretty place. Next time I visit my aunt in Oakdale, I will have to stop and visit.
ReplyDeleteWishing you a healthy and peaceful New Year Becky!!
Becky, there is nothing like Spring to breathe in new hope. As the seedlings wait for the snow to thaw, we must patiently wait for the return of our sweet Savior. God's blessings are rich and salvation free. What an amazing gift we have been bestowed. Happy and blessed New Year, dear friend.

The Canada Dry crate reminds me of my fam purchasing soda in a wooden case at a small facility many years ago. I always enjoy stopping in to visit your blog, Becky! :) Happy New Year to you & your family!

Here in NH we don't see spring until May usually. Sure hope is comes sooner though as I am anxious to get to our lake camp and have some fun.
ReplyDeleteRoad trip! I am going to have to make a point of heading up and coming to The Green Pea! Happy New Year Becky! What a beautiful job you did on the window. I have a little green tote similar to yours that I'm using in my kitchen right now with salts, oils, etc. Now I'm thinking about stashing it with my Christmas decor to put trees in next year. LOL Your vignettes always inspire me.
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year Sweet Becky!!
ReplyDeleteYou are such an inspiration to me. I will be arranging and rearranging ... oh... so many ideas running thru my head!
Loves.

That looks like a little bit of heaven and a whole lot of spring all in one glorious place....How I would love to visit in person!! Love all the old metal pails and cans - an the bird cages!! Unfortunately we are just battening down for the onslaught of a long winter ahead....It has been snowing the last 3 days and the winds are so blustery I'm surprised the snow has been blown to the next state over already.....Thanks for giving me some spring to play in my head....Wishing you a week filled with smiles....Hugs & Best Blessings ~ Robin
