misty

golden gate

Do you go back through old photos and feel like it was just yesterday that the picture was taken? I remember this beautiful day so well, yet it was several years ago. The cool misty fog was rolling in under the Golden Gate bridge in San Francisco. My youngest son and I were just standing there looking at the white capped water lapping against the rocky edge. Hubby snapped this one and I am thankful he did. A fun day with the loves of my life. I get misty when I look at it…time just goes by so fast…so fast…..

  1. Beautiful picture. I just love the candid snapshots - the ones that catch you unaware and by surprise. They show so much of who we are.

  5. I just did that too! With my 13 year old girls. Whe they were babies...I had three kids under the age of two...so I don't remember much from back then:):) It was pure SURVIVAL!! So those pictures are sooooo precious to me!!

Thank you for sharing your great picture...love it:)

    Happy Monday!!

  7. Yes, it is a beautiful picture. And you are as beautiful outside as you clearly are inside. Time does seem to just run past us, doesn't it? And I think the worst part is that so many people don't appreciate the little moments when families are young and things are hectic. I guess it is one of those, "If I only knew now what I didn't know then" things. Thanks for a wonderful reminder to drink in the little moments. Lori L

  14. Oh Becky that is a "BEAUTIFUL"
    picture. That really makes you
WOW!!! Yes I just went through
a lot of our old pictures when
our kids were little and oh my
    that just seemed like yesterday.
    Now my grandchildren are almost
grown. Wow how time goes by so
fast. There are some days I
look at myself and say how in
the world did you get to 60
so fast and next month 61. Gosh
    I feel like yesterday I was 16,
if only the body felt that way.

And all your tiny pillows...get moved from here to there to here and back again..and I love them still.
