Time to clean….
..which means whip out the Swiffer, Windex and Pledge.
A little dusting here…
..and here…
…and here.
Taking note that this old motto is missing a few letters….funny how you catch things when really paying attention.
The dried hydrangeas need a little fluffing…
…and dust blown off of the shells.
Cleaning stacks of things here and there….
…and taking my time to get in the nooks and crannies.
It feels good to have things clean again…
well, until next week!
Happy Monday!
Time to kick back with some lemonade!
That's the thing about a well decorated home. There is always SOOOO much dusting to do! It makes me a little nuts sometimes... giggles.

I can just picture you there...dusting and fluffing and humming a little tune while the pets sit around watching! lol What a warm and comforting home you have. Now...can you come over here and work some of your magic? I hate dusting!
ReplyDeleteSmiles, Karen
I never quite knew just how much stuff I had until I started dusting it! Cleaning services never do quite the same job as I do. My problem is that I take too many breaks in between. What should be a day's worth of cleaning turns into three! LOL
ReplyDeleteMiss Jean's house needs some serious fluffing! Wanna help? Tee Hee!!!
ReplyDeleteLove your fluffing! Your photos are amazing today!
ReplyDeleteBe a sweetie,
Shelia :)
Do you use anything special to clean the tops of your books, Becky? I have such a time with mine. Everything looks so much spiffier after a good cleaning!
ReplyDelete(I loved the story you shared with me in your comment. That must've been so incredible to see. I'm glad that you recognized it for what it was...love sent down.)
Oh Becky that's what I've been doing all day. With all that I
ReplyDeletehave it takes more than 1 day.
But I love all of it and never
would have it any other way.
Aren't Mondays Wonderful.LOL:O)
Happy Monday to you, too! I've been doing a little bit of housework today, too! ♥
ReplyDeleteWOOT! Good for you. Inspiring the rest of us to GET TO IT! by looking at all your cleaned treasures...sigh...if only it would stay clean...ah...that must be Heaven to come. :-)

I am on the look out at yard sales and thrift stores for me a cloche.......I can never seem to find one.....I usually find everything I look for..........but so far no cloche
ReplyDeleteWhen your done fluffing your place will you come do mine? After your lemonade of course ;)
ReplyDeleteI'll make the lemonade, if you'll bring your cleaning energy!
ReplyDeleteIsn't it fun to do a photo shoot and dust at the same time....makes it all worth it! LOL

Lovely collections of lovely things. Isnt it great when you do get round to dusting, everything seems so bright and cheery, but then maybe I dont dust as often as you! Jane xx PS those pics of Becky are soooo sweet!
ReplyDeleteI did this last night. Cleaned and vacuumed and mopped. Until next week, just like you said. But it sure feels good right after it's spiffed up and smelling fresh, doesn't it? Your house is so inviting.
ReplyDeleteBrenda
Can you come to my house please? You can swim in my pool.........
ReplyDeleteYou make house cleaning look fum. And un-dirty! Becky, I emailed you about a little gift I want to send you...

hugs to you!
What beautiful photos and music. I love your blog. Thank you so much, feels so good to come in here.
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
Such beautiful photos but it reminds me that I have to get back to my cleaning! ha ha
ReplyDeleteWouldn't it be just peachy if the rooms could stay dust free and clean for longer than a week? *sigh* When I am Queen of the Planet I will decree it be so!! *giggle*
ReplyDeleteHave a beautiful weekend!
Love,
Sue
