Inspiration

This is by far one of my most favorite homes on earth. Though I have never been there, the home just beckons me to open the gate and stroll along the brick walkway, walk up the white wooden steps and step through the red front door. Everything about this home just speaks to me. It is the kind of home that feels like a favorite pair of worn blue jeans and soft white tee shirt.

Fresh.

Simple.

Red.

White.

Blue.

Putting it simply – I adore it.

These bedrooms have inspired me to fix up our guest bedroom. I’ve been slowly collecting fabrics, pillows and linens for the little project (ok – not so little project!) and will be working slowly on it in the next month – or so.

    I love this one too! I have the pictures of this gorgeous house all clipped out of the magazine I first saw them in. They are in my decorating inspiration folder and they make me happy evey time I see them:>)

    Yes Becky, this is one of my favorite all time farmhouses too. For some reason, when I see this house, it just says "Becky"! I think you need to change things up to red, white and blue. I remember your house being featured for the month of July and how adorable it was!

    Happy week to you too! We have our walk through on Fri. and then our close of escrow next week! I have been so busy I have not be able to post. Gary and I have been shopping for the new house and have found a few treasures along the way.
    I also adore all your bedroom inspiration photo's. The red is so sweet. I can't wait to see what you come up with using your collection of pillows and linens. I think I may need your creativeness and thoughts at the new house... my very talented friend.....

    gosh, becky, that IS a great house.

    you can just feel the sunlight and fresh spring breeze coming in. i love the red, white, and blue throughout and the "homemade jams" sign is awesome.

    I remember that house. I can see why it inspires you, it is very Becky! Your cookies look yummy, I just printed the recipe. I used to make gingersnaps a lot. And that faire you showed. OH My, why don't they do em up like that here??? What treasures. Lisa
