going green, thank you and happy mother’s day

P1010044I shared with you HERE that I found a little green cabinet to bring home.  Going green is good, right?  I like to think so!

The shabby and primitive little green cabinet was quickly filled with precious little things that make me smile…..

P1010037 This wonderful vintage stitchery came from Susan’s shop at T-Party blog.  I love red roofed cottages and cottage gardens!

P1010038 The middle shelf holds a photo of my sweet boys when they were small children.  Next to it are a few Lego pieces that their precious little hands created. 

I am so happy that I brought this shelf home.  Thank you, Barbara V., for giving me the little nudge to do so!  :)

P1010051 Recently I have been very blessed to have won a few giveaways, too.

This adorable tray was handmade by the sweet and talented Carrie (Cottage Cozy).  Isn’t it precious?

So many intricate details!  It is a perfect touch to our little home!

P1010056 Back in December (gosh, that seems like eons ago!) I won a Le’ Target gift card from wonderful Marie (Spun By Me).  As difficult as it was for me to do, I held onto it until the perfect thing jumped out at me.  The other day these little goodies found their way into my cart.  LOVE the polka dots that Target has!  These were the last of the plates….shucks!  I am on a mission to find more!

Really?

Not on Mother’s Day!  Did you know that a national law just passed that any laundry is forbidden to be done on Mother’s Day.  So, ladies, step away from the machine!

    Your new cabinet is wonderful for showing off all the treasures you have placed inside. It makes a beautiful home for them.

    I got the polka dog glasses last Christmas! Love them. Now I want the plates. I haven't seen them before. I must check my Target to see.

    Wonderful things...I love the little birds and the needlepoint cottage. My son was all about the legos, and I also have one little mooncar type thing that he made years and years ago that is saved in a hutch.
