My husband and I absolutely have our favorites. Isn't it funny how your favorite will get ugly and chippy with time... but it's still your favorite? :)
Oh gosh, I have so many mugs! My favorite right now is my Tinkerbelle mug from Walt Disney World. It's large so it holds lots of coffee and has Tinkerbelle on the side. What a witty post - enjoyed it.
Nothing like a nice, heavy mug! Our everyday mugs were on sale @ Walmart for 49 cents each. We have 5 of them because they were the LAST 5!!! But when I'm in a reflective mood I'll pull out the old brown and white one that I remember my paternal grandfather drinking his coffee from, and it takes me waaaaaayyyyy back in time! He passed away in 1972!
i do...love your pics, very creatively done! ...love my mug recently purchased when I went to Dillard House in the n. Ga. mtns...a remembrance of a wonderful meal and good time with friends. It is locally thrown and molded...burgundy and green...holds 16 hot ounces of joe!! ...and ears large enough to slide all four of my finger through to wrap around the base, wonderfully warm :)
Oh dear..here goes the Libra in me! I have to make a decision every single morning which mug I use..so..no I guess not. I think all of them are favorites really. I tried using a SET of mugs...didn't last long. Hung them on a mug tree and they have been there since I bought them. Patrick and I used to have our favorites we used every morning but now I just pick randomly. I loved your mugs. They look like they would keep coffee hot a long time. None of mine do. :) Hugs to you sweet friend. Mona
What a fun group of photos ~ especially the shot of the ears!
I have six favorite mugs. All the same style. just different colors. I love the handles ~ the opening is big. All four of my fingers will fit through it! Love them!
I recently bought a very pretty floral Cath Kidston mug, which could well become my favourite. Not just because it looks so pretty, but also because its BIG!!!
You are so funny.. I love to drink from glass coffee cups.. Clear ones.. or maybe a dark green one.. My sweet DH thinks I am strange.. and of course I am !
Have a great coffee in the mug day... Hope your rain has stopped...
Oh yea Miss Becky ~ unfortunatley it does NOT have a scottie on i t ~ just a big ol' tom cat and it holds lots of cocoa ( with a onch of expresso for a morning boost ONLY)~ Too cool sweetie, Love ya~ Nebs and the furbabies
Oh you have a favourite mug, I have several favourites, is that allowed, I just love a big mug of tea from one of my favourite mugs. When Im away from home I long for tea from my favourite mugs :) Thanks for sharing with us.
Doesn't everyone have a favorite mug? Mine is a Mickey and Minnie Mouse mug my hubby and I won for "Best Costumes" at a fifties theme party. We dressed up as Steak and Shake car hops complete with skates. That was more than twenty years ago. A lot of memories in a mug.
Great shots. Of course I have a favorite mug. It has just the right handle, a perfect lip and is thickk enough to hold the heat in my drink without being too chunky.
O.K. Becky the only thing missing from those wonderful mug shots is the numbers..LOL..I have a fiesta yellow mug that is one of my favorites. My hot chocolate mug is a chicken mug that my niece gave me back in the 80's.:O)
LOL You tickle me, Becky.....left, right, up, down ;-)
I can be very picky when it comes to mugs, drinking out of them anyway. They have to fit just right in my hand, and the porcelain should be shiny smooth. I can have a whole cabinet of mugs, but use maybe three favorites over and over. XO, Lallee
How neat are these pictures! Yes I do have a favorite mug just for my hot chocolate.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing these with us.
