Coming Up For Air!.....

...just like the whales do!
I thought I'd dig my way out of my sewing area and do a little post. We are in the midst - hard midst - of redecorating the bathrooms. Yes...plural. Hubby is finishing the tile work first then off to put in new sinks, beadboard and light fixtures. Nothing too fancy smancy, but just breathing in new life and a nautical look. Just a peeky-boo of some of the doo-dads here and there....

Below are just a few of the pennants that I have been feverishly working on. 11 total...so far. Ya know when you get in the "groove" it is hard to peel yourself away. I thought I'd do up some Halloweeny ones, along with a scotty - of course - and the vintage tablecloth favorites.

I have some serious thanking to do for some recent awards from some reallllll sweethearts! But I will save that for another post cause I have some serious passin' out to do!

Till next time...may your days be filled with love and laughter....and a bit of politics, too!

  4. Remodeling is so much fun-NOT-It is so much work. Now the decorating part IS FUN. We just redid both bathrooms and our kitchen, so I know what you are going thru. It WILL be worth it in the end. We decorated our downstairs bathroom with beachy things and some of our collection of vintage sandpails. I have really enjoyed it. I can't wait to see the finished rooms. I know they will be great with your special touches. Have a great day.

  14. I am loving the look already just from the peek-a-boo. If you have some leftover energy when you're done, would you send it my way? My master bath needs serious work. Love all the new banners! Now get back to work so we can see the rest.
