There is such a sweetness about old ephemera. This is an antique Easter card that has the sweetest sentiment. Click to enlarge to it - so cute! They just don't make things like they used to.
I also enjoy reading the notes or looking at the penmanship of the time. Now I wonder who "A True Friend" is....... What special cards....
What a sweet sentiment! We don't often let our friends know our good wishes for them in such sweet terms do we? I wish you a wonderful week and all the joy that God can bless you with:>)
I agree with you Becky, there is nothing like the old cards. Sweet verses and sweet illustrations. I have a friend and she always sends "old cards" that were never used for all occassions. Great to receive. You have a wonderful week. Jean in Virginia
That is so sweet! I enjoy these old cards and love to read what people wrote in them. It's such a wonderful snapshot of the past. The art work on the front is so beautiful, too! Patricia :o)
I also LOVE old cards. I have a recent post about my stash..come take a peek...It's just that they are so sweet and loving, and great pictures/color..etc. Warmly, Deb

I agree, the old cards do have a finer prettier look to them... and the hand writing is different... maybe because of fountain pens???
