Baked Up An Idea

This Py-O-My Cookie sheet is not only for baking up some tasty treats...
it also serves double duty as a magnetic display piece. There are two sweet cards on here from Lallee, another Scotty mother.
The sweet Scotty button is from my friend Amy (she sells the cutest covered buttons on eBay under her name Vintage*Home) and the tea card is from Miss Jean (but of course!)
I just hung it on the wall by using a plate holder. Simple simon, fun and quirky.

You can find these Py-O-My baking sheets on eBay, ETSY (one for sale here) or antique stores. They originally were sold for 49 cents with the purchase of a cake mix. I gave 4.00 for mine - still relatively inexpensive for a bit of the past.

I agree with pattiej. I would love a laundry room to fix up instead of a dirty old garage!

  12. Very cute idea indeed! Oh, I will have to check out the covered buttons! Every time I see that little cabinet on your counter I get a very serious case of coveting. I'm going to confess my sin and then pray I find one like it some day. Would that work?

Happy weekend to you and the clan!

  27. Oh Becky, I LOVE THIS! Do all cookies sheets work with magnets? I need to try this out and see. Only I have boring cookie sheets. LOL! Where do you find these great vintage items??? We are planning a new kitchen and this would look so adorable in it. Only I have to see if I can work it around my speculaas cookie moulds. I have a rather large collection for a rather small kitchen. :)

How is dear ol' Doogs doing? We are keeping our fingers crossed for news in the puppy department soon...

    Hugs and kitty kisses ~
