~~*~~ Another Little Creation ~~*~~

This past weekend was spent indoors...hiding my horribly wretched face from everyone! Having had the brown spots frozen off of my face left me looking rather pitiful...blistered and all...like I had had a date with a Scarab. So I just stayed inside..all bummed out because I didn't even get to go see the new Bourne movie! Bummer, because I love them! So, what did I do with myself? After cleaning, I made a little pillow and then a little secret something for Amy (your package will be sent off in a few days).

The flower is hand embroidered with red DMC floss. Lots of french knots later, it was all done and I thought it would be cute in a pillow.

Now I dream of having a neutral colored couch that I can put my pillows on. More cottage dreaming......

  5. I *really* like that pillow. You are very clever. Did you have a pattern or just make it up?

  6. Hi Kate ~ The embroidered bit was an iron-on pattern from Pattern Bee (via Turkey Feathers on my links). I picked the fabrics to match and then started cutting strips..beginning at the embroidered square first. No pattern..just an idea that I had in my head. If you have anymore questions, you can email me at sweetcottagedreams1@comcast.net.
