Yesterday we were walking through woods of snowdrops and today the sun is shining bright and Soring does seem just around the corner. It's only about 5degrees but that sounds pretty warm compared to your current temperatures. Wrap up warm and keep safe. At least you have a beautiful home to snuggle down in.WinnibriggsHousehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12373512408459789941noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2540459793417833940.post-3653274554759632992015-02-22T13:10:47.902-08:002015-02-22T13:10:47.902-08:00It kind of sounds like you are exactly where you n...It kind of sounds like you are exactly where you need to be! If you were in southeastern NC, you would be having a cloudy day with a temperature of 67. Two days ago, it got down to 11 overnight. A few days from now, the temperatures will dip again. About a week ago, you would have seen clumps of daffodils while running errands. Ours are working there way up. Enjoy where you are. That dream ended fast when faced with the reality of tornadoes, humidity, snow, bugs, snakes, etc. a huge tornado hit just two months after living there and we had no basement. It was terrifying. We ended up moving back home to Northern California 18 mos later. We missed the ocean and the Sierra Nevada Mtns. And Yosemite and redwoods. We will never leave again. This is home sweet home. I groan a little every time I see one of my California friends talking about their gardens right now. This morning we woke up to temps of -20,I don't even want to talk about the wind chill! I actually think about what it would be like to live just a little further south, enough to have milder winters but not scorching summers? Is there such a place? I am guessing if there was we would ALL live there. The house looks beautiful. I am getting ready to make a final sweep for winter décor in the house, pack it up and pull out spring!
